Build on what you’ve learned with guided gameplay and strategy: Review Mahjong 101 & PLAY!

- This is a 2 session course to learn the game. The sign up is for both lessons.

About the Instructor: Katie started playing Mahjong about five years ago. She was immediately hooked! After playing with a group of friends for a few years, she wanted to "spread the love" of the game with others and build a community.
She quickly realized there was no dedicated place in KC where you could show up, play and maybe meet new friends. After doing a little research, she learned she was not alone. Katie learned that other cities had clubs to learn and play American Mahjong, and she thought Kansas City needed its own dedicated group. So in September of 2024, KC Mahjong Club was born!
Katie is a certified teacher with Oh My Mahjong! and she uses their teaching program and materials for her classes.
Cancellation Policy: If the dates no longer work for you, we can move your reservation to a future date for no charge. If you would like to cancel for a refund more than 1 week before your lessons begin, we will refund 96% of your ticket, reserving 4% for already paid credit card transaction & booking fees. If it is less than 1 week before your lessons, no refund is available.
