Pull up a chair and join us for Sunday Table, a Quarter Life Mahj gathering centered around mahjong, meaningful conversation, and building community.
Whether you’re looking to meet new people, reconnect with familiar faces, or simply enjoy a few hours around the table, Sunday Table is a welcoming space where friendships are formed, skills are sharpened, and everyone has a seat.
Think of it as your Sunday night third space; a place to gather, unwind, and connect through the shared experience of playing mahjong.
GUIDED OPEN PLAY | $15
Sunday Table is designed for players of all experience levels. Whether you’ve played for years, recently learned the game, or are still building confidence at the table, you’ll find a welcoming seat here.
Experienced players are encouraged to come enjoy engaging play, connect with other mahjong enthusiasts, and help foster the welcoming community that makes the game so special. Newer players can learn through play, ask questions, and gain experience in a supportive environment.
This isn’t a formal lesson; it’s guided open play. Come enjoy a few rounds of mahjong while connecting with fellow players in a relaxed and social atmosphere.
Throughout the evening, Ally will be circulating from table to table offering tips, answering questions, helping players think through strategy, and cheering you on when you draw the tile you’ve been waiting for or finally call Mahjong. Whether you need help reading the card or want to talk through a challenging hand, support is always available!
Whether you’re looking to sharpen your skills, build confidence, meet other players, or simply enjoy a fun Sunday evening, Sunday Table is a place where everyone belongs.

Meet Your Host
Like many twenty-somethings, Ally Kmiecik was looking for a hobby that felt more meaningful than another evening spent scrolling. After learning American Mahjong, she quickly fell in love with the strategy, excitement, and connection the game creates.
As a teacher by day and community-builder at heart, Ally founded Quarter Life Mahj to introduce a new generation to the game. Her goal is simple: create welcoming spaces where people can gather, learn, laugh, and build friendships one tile at a time.
