She was immediately hooked! After playing with a group of friends for a few years, she wanted to \"spread the love\" of the game with others and build a community. \u003c\/div\u003e\n\u003cdiv\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/div\u003e\n\u003cdiv\u003eShe quickly realized there was no dedicated place in KC where you could show up, play and maybe meet new friends. After doing a little research, she learned she was not alone. Katie learned that other cities had clubs to learn and play American Mahjong, and she thought Kansas City needed its own dedicated group.
